At Bright Futures we recognize
the value of every person and are guided by our commitment to excellence and
leadership. We are dedicated to finding a home that will provide exemplary
physical, emotional, and spiritual care for each of our residents. We
recognize each resident as unique and treat each family as our own. Our goal
is to find the most desirable residence with the proper care provided at the
cost our resident can afford.
Purpose of the Code of Ethics
Bright Futures Senior
Care Placement has implemented a code of ethics to better uphold the
reputation and integrity of the company. At Bright Futures Senior Care
Placement, we conduct business according to standard ethical business and
legal conduct. We pride ourselves in setting the standards. We
follow our code of ethics when working with all clients and other
associates. It also outlines what we expect from associates within our
business organization.

Clients
The primary responsibility of Bright Futures Senior Care is to ensure
our customers are matched with a home that promotes the well being of the
residents.

Self Determination
Bright Futures Senior Care Placement is here to assist our customers
in finding a home that they feel comfortable with. We respect our customer’s opinions regarding where they would
like to be placed. Our goal is to
find a home that fits all of our customer’s requirements.
In some instances, it may be necessary for Bright Futures Senior Care
Placement to consult with an authorized third party, such as a family
member. This will be necessary when
the customer is unable to communicate directly with one of our associates
because of a language barrier, or because of an illness that limits
communication with our primary customer.

Informed Consent
Bright Futures Senior Care Placement takes responsibility to fully
inform our customers of all information related to placing a person in a
home. We will use understandable
language discuss the costs they will be charged by the home and alternative
options they may choose from, and allow an opportunity for the customer to
ask questions.

Competence
Bright Futures Senior Care will only offer services based on helping
our customers find the proper home that fits their lifestyle. We will not offer advice that falls
outside of our scope of work. This
includes medical and financial advice.

Cultural
Competence and Social Diversity
Bright Futures Senior
Care Placement understands that each culture may require slight differences
in their living situations. We take
these requirements into consideration when providing our service to our
customers.

Conflicts of
Interest
Associates of Bright
Futures Senior Care Placement will use professional judgment to avoid
conflicts of interest. Should a
conflict of interest come up, our associate will immediately notify our
customer and will try to resolve the issue.
If we are unable to resolve the conflict of interest, steps will be
taken to protect our customer’s interest..

Privacy and
Confidentiality
Bright Futures Senior
Care Placement respects the privacy of our customers. We will not request for any private
information unless it is required for us to perform our service. If any private information is shared it
automatically becomes confidential information.
Bright Futures Senior Care Placement will only share private and confidential
information after we receive permission from our customer or a person acting
on their behalf. Also, we will only
share the smallest amount of private/confidential information necessary in
order to fulfill our services.
Associates of Bright Futures Senior Care Placement will only discuss
private/confidential information with a third party in a setting where
privacy can be ensured. This means
that private/confidential information will not be shared in a public or
semi-pubic setting.
Bright Futures Senior Care Placement will also protect the confidentiality of
written and electronic records.
Customer records will be stored in a secure location and will only be
available to those associates who are authorized to have access to the files.
Ethical Responsibilities to Colleagues

will respect private/confidential information shared by other associates in
the course of business.

Consultation
Associates of Bright Futures Senior Care Placement
may consult with their colleagues to provide the best possible care to our
customers. When consulting with
colleagues, the least amount of private/confidential information will be
provided in order to assist the customer.

Referral for
Services
Bright Futures Senior
Care Placement will refer customers to other professionals when a client’s
needs fall outside of the scope of our services.
